Customer Review: Very Good, but be Aware!
After receiving this unit, I examined it closely (as you do!), and decided to
try the Simulation Mode! That was a big mistake, because having entered
Simulation mode, it absolutely refused to go back to normal operation. I only
realised this after commencing a journey, when I found it was getting ahead of
itself because I was driving more slowly than the simulation! When I contacted
the Magellan website, all they did was to tell me what was already in the
manual! So I contacted Amazon, and would you believe, the replacement arrived
next day. Now I have the rplacement I am very happy with it. It is well built,
with a nice loud voice, and an 8-hour battery life. In fact I have no criticisms
whatsoever. Just one point, I have not dared to put it into simulation mode -
just in case! But who really needs simulation mode anyway? Ian Coleman
