Review: A very good sat nav
Just to correct a couple of comments in other reviews - It does do a
full 7 digit search and you can give names to places you mark with a pin
in "your POIs" [places of interest]. I have found this to be a very good
sat nav with quick satellite aquisition and excellent route
re-calculation when you decide to do a detour from the suggested turns.
Also does excellent, and adjustable, zoom in and out as you approach
your turns, to show better detail. The touch screen for all operations,
including a fill Qwuerty keyboard work faultlessly with just a finger
touch [even though they do provide a stylus which I don't bother using].
Also has auto night screen and various screen set up styles to choose
from and a "cockpit" screen selection which shows all the detail of the
map plus imminent turns, time of estimated arrival, distance to go, etc.
I think it is an excellent unit and worth much more than is being asked
for it. I don't have any regrets about buying mine.
